Students used vertical boards to work together, share ideas, and learn from peers. They used strategies to add with sums to 20, solve one-step addition story problems, and solve subtraction problems!

Here is this week's newsletter. Impact Aid Forms were sent home on Wednesday. These forms are vital to our district because they allow us to receive federal funding to offset the loss of local tax revenue due to federal properties, including Mashantucket Pequot Tribal land and federal employers. This grant has historically provided $1.4 million to our school district’s budget—so it’s a significant amount. Our school has successfully had 100% return rate the past few years.
